I remember spending countless hours playing Lucasarts' X-Wing back in the day, painfully defending these Rebel frigates against TIE Fighters. Then I got TIE Fighter, and enjoyed destroying them. I wouldn't have the heart to reduce to bricks the enormous Nebulon-B.
The Lego version of the classic Nebulon-B Class rebel frigate Redemption is 4 feet and 6 inches long. That's 172 studs long, and I'm not talking about The Hoff. It's big enough to dock one mini-Millennium Falcon and three X-Wings. [MOC via Brothers Brick]
Bringing a bit of a contemporary touch to the usual street stylings of Casio’s G-SHOCK, we get a peek into an upcoming project between Casio and Japanese menswear label Edifice. Two new watches will be produced within a set that finds inspiration from British design, while celebrating Edifice’s 15th Anniversary. Simple yet classy, both timepieces feature mostly white/black platforms with added stripe and polka dot motifs on the bands. Stay tuned for a further look into the project in the coming weeks.

Marking only a handful of personalities to ever make the jump into iconic Bape cartoon form, rising star Kid Cudi was on hand in Los Angeles for the release of his Baby Milo t-shirt. Taking place at the Bape flagship, Kid Cudi was also on hand to sign autographs for a throng of fans waiting in line.
Photography: Yagit80Releasing in February of next year is this collaboration BEARBRICK from MEDICOM TOY. Involved in the process are Japanese band GLORY HILL and design collection 7Stars Design. The BEARBRICK’s design incorporates elements from both partners including some interesting imagery with a mouth that extends onto the chest with a felt finish. Available on February 5th, 2010 at select retailers.

For the recent opening of fashion boutique JUICE Shanghai, CLOT teamed up with Japanese label OriginalFake on the “Shanghai” Font Tee which was designed by the artist KAWS. Now this t-shirt will be made in a Hong Kong version (JUICE is also located in Hong Kong) and will be available on January 2nd, 2010 at a price of $680 HKD.

A bit toned down for the usual design schemes from swagger, the jacket features classic two-tone fleece styling with dual brand embroidery. Premier Japanese retailer nano universe unveil a new set of watches made in conjunction with Casio’s G-SHOCK division. Both the classic DW-5600 and popular DW-6900 platforms are used, each playing off a color theme of black, pink, and white. Capping off the tri-tone and two-tone designs is slight branding from nano universe on the band.

French label Kitsune welcomes its Spring/Summer line a bit early with the release of its suede belt, offered in two colorways. Claiming a prep style aesthetic within most of its collections, this belt comes as no surprise, built with classic color tones and a simple design scheme in mind. Nigo previews a new 2010 collaboration from BAPE, alongside computer company Fujitsu. Implementing A Bathing Ape’s signature camo print, Fujitsu’s mini notebook received a makeover in two colorways, both a part of what seems like a new brand of FMV models. No further information is available at the moment, but stay tuned.
Japanese retailer DEDUE celebrates its 5th anniversary with a small collection of items with both Gallery 1950 and Porter. Spanning backpacks and wallets, the Day Pack features a re-worked size and design with modern amenities such as a laptop sleeve despite the relatively simple design. The wallets feature a pattern originally conceived by Charles and Ray Eames in 1947 and includes a heavy duty fabric. The wallet comes in three colors. The collection will release in mid-March of 2010.

Following up on an announcement earlier this month, A Bathing Ape unveils its second t-shirt design in conjunction with Kid Cudi. Created to commemorate Cudi’s participation in Lady Gaga’s “The Monster Ball” tour, the tee features a Bape version of Cudi alongside the brand’s mascot Baby Milo. The tee drop this Sunday, December 20th, 2009 (12pm) at the Bape Store Los Angeles with Kid Cudi making a special signing session appearance.
Pharrell Williams brings forth the latest installment of his Perspective series in the shape of The Tank Chair. Slated for a world premiere at the Emmanuel Perriton Gallery during Art Basel Miami Skateboard P’s latest venture in contemporary furniture comes along in four colorways and is made of plexiglas and full grain colt leather. After taking inspiration from the love between a man and a woman for the first Perspective chair one can only assume the influence behind this creative piece.
It seems like a black version of KAWS’ Dissected Companion in a lifesize 4′ version will be seeing a release soon. Much like previous companions this size, an enormous price tag can be expected to be attached to the giant sized toy, produced by Medicom Toy. A release is set for December 19th, 2009 through the OriginalFake flagship store in Tokyo.

Its Vintage 20L Backpack comes available in three different classic earth tone colorways, featuring polypropylene webbing and polyurethane coated ripstop nylon lining, adjustable padded shoulder straps, top carry handle, large main compartment, two large side pockets, and a safety pocket in the top lid, YKK zippers, and adjustable leather straps. The backpack retails for $170 USD and is now available through Blackbird.
The latest rival pack from Nike Japan comes in the form of a Terminator Premium High set, offered in toned down black colorways with a wealth of intricate details. The shoes pair up Ueno vs Harajuku, both well known places in Japan for their cultural influences and massive shopping experiences. A launch for both designs is set for December 23rd, 2009 via mita Sneakers with retail set at ¥18,900 (Approx. $211 USD).
