Takashi Murakami Exhibition at Gagosian London
Opened almost as a preview for Takashi Murakami’s upcoming show at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao in Spain, the Gagosian Gallery in London saw the opening of their exhibition last night. The show featured three larger scale paintings including work from Murakami’s Time Bokan series and his trademark KaiKai and Kiki characters. Takashi even managed to showcased some live unofficial body painting segments. Check it out!

Kidrobot Artist Signing Event in SoHo NYC
While the Comic Con is in New York City, the people at Kidrobot decided to hold a meet and greet with artists that have worked with Kidrobot in the past. The event included appearances’ from Consequence, Sket 1, Pon, Huck Gee and many more. As always Kidrobot attracted a huge crowd that warped around the whole block.

Shepard Fairey Arrested In Boston
BOSTON - A street artist famous for his red, white and blue “Hope” posters of President Obama has been arrested on warrants accusing him of tagging property with graffiti, police said Saturday.
Shepard Fairey was arrested Friday night on his way to the Institute of Contemporary Art for a kickoff event for his first solo exhibition, called “Supply and Demand.”
Two warrants were issued for Fairey on Jan. 24 after police determined he’d tagged property in two locations with graffiti based on the Andre the Giant street art campaign from his early career, Officer James Kenneally said. One of the locations was the railroad trestle by the landmark Boston University bridge over the Charles River, police said.

According to Sanada’s description, it would allow for a full-sized keyboard, 10-inch LED-backlit display and 128GB SSD, all in something just 28 x 13.8 x 1.68cm.
