Space Fashion & The 50th Anniversary of the Mercury 7
Its funny how the fashion of spaceman has stepped up over the years.. hahaha this fucking shit looks like it wouldn't even keep you warm out side on the street.. its like some 1930's movie prop!!But 2009 is a big year for NASA’s history. Following their 50th Anniversary last year they are celebrating the 50th Anniverssary of the Mercury 7. The Mercury 7 were the first 7 Astronauts(John Glenn, Alan Shepard, “Guss” Grissom, Scott Carpenter, Wally Schirra, Deke Slayton and Gordon Cooper) picked to fly on the Mercury missions(Deke Slayton actually flew on the Apollo mission). Later this summer NASA will be celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the first moon landings. You should check out the official NASA web site for a complete history of the Mercury program and learn more about these pioneers!
