INAUGURAL SURVEILLANCE

Scary or genius, photographer David Bergman used the Inauguration as an opportunity to illustrate the power of digital cameras. The camera used allows you to digitally see people over half a mile away. Zoom on CRACK.

The Inauguration picture, containing over 2GB of photo data, was created putting together over 220 images taken with a robotic Canon G10 Bridge camera with 1,474 megapixels. (295 times the standard 5 megapixel camera).

Each zoom in takes a second to focus ...and then you can see some amazing reactions.

Bonus points if you find Yo-Yo Ma .... taking a picture with his iPhone.
(I haven't found him yet... Tell me if you do!)

Go ahead, take your seat at the inauguration.

You can use the roller on your mouse, or use the bar on the left side of the page to navigate and got in really close.
